Dental Assistant
Layton Dental Practice is seeking a Dental Assistant for immediate hire that is a detailed, service-oriented, energetic, friendly, out-going, people-person for a very client-oriented, well established practice.
Applicant must have a strong desire to help make the patient's dental dreams a reality! The person we select will be an excellent communicator, can think on their feet, have great verbal skills, and will not shy away from being able to present dental treatments, discuss fees recommend treatment and cosmetic options with the patients.
The Team member we select will be a self-starter, hard-worker, enjoy continual learning, and be dedicated to grow in their career as a DA. The applicant will be looking to improve the lives of others while contributing significantly to their Team and to the growth of the practice.
The job is M-W with future potential for Thursdays as well. Work hours are basically 7AM to 4PM.
Applicants should have had training and/or work experience as a Dental Assistant and have a working knowledge and the skills and desire to accomplish the many facets of a dental assistant's job in a superior manner. Priority will be given to those who have been trained as a dental assistant and/or who have previously been employed in a dental practice and who already have their Radiology Certificate from the State of Utah as well as being certified for CPR. Additional priority will be given to applicants that have had experience with digital X-rays, dental software (Preferably Dentrix), patient scheduling, and basic knowledge of dental insurance and ADA codes.
