WHAT DOES A FRONT DESK GUEST SERVICES MANAGER DO? As our new Front Desk Guest Services Manager, you respond to guest needs personally and empower your team to do the same.
You make sure that our front desk staff knows how to follow cash handling, credit, and check cashing procedures and stays knowledgeable about incoming groups and new accounts.
With your amazing attention to detail, you create the front desk schedule, ensuring that all shifts are covered.
Working closely with the director of sales, you stay up-to-date with recent developments and upcoming events, knowing the hotel's demand segments and sources of business for each.
You ensure that proper rates and inventory are loaded correctly, making sure that our guests get the best deals and our team members stay informed.
You are key to prioritizing multiple tasks, making sure that daily checklists are completed.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A FRONT DESK GUEST SERVICES MANAGER Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, managers, and vendors Prior hotel front desk service Ability to lift 25
pounds and stand/walk for prolonged periods of time Ability to maintain a positive attitude in difficult situations Computer skills Physical ability for pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching Are you a customer service rockstar?
