Test Engineer Intern with Security Clearance
Descriptiono Familiarization with engineering specific software such as CAD (eg Solidworks, NX, etc)o Participate in test or project events as assigned by Project Manager or Engineering supervisor including Destructive Material Test, Non-Destructive Test of electronic assemblies and Environmental Stress testingo Assist Engineering and Test Technicians in research of requirements supporting Testing processes on established and emerging programs.o Gather data and compile reports to assess effectiveness of testing procedures and productivityo Explore technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirementso Assist with preparing work instructions, modifications, and record accuracyo Support AS9100, ISO9001, NADCAP and all other certified engineering/testing effortso Interns will work 15 - 25 hours per week; summer interns will typically work 40 hourso Must be willing to accept direction from, and interact professionally with supervisor and co-workerso Must work with integrity and follow assigned tasks through to completiono Assist with department administrative duties as necessary to learn about the work being performed, and to contribute to completion of department workloado Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training (both required and desired):
o High School diploma or equivalent requiredo Currently pursuing or recent graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering discipline or an EET program requiredo Engineering or manufacturing major preferred
