Sous Chef

The Davis Conference Center is looking for a FT Sous Chef to be responsible for day to day operation of kitchen and production and oversee large scale production efforts according to guidelines and recipes set forth by the Executive Chef.
- Must have flexible availability including mornings, days, nights and weekends as needed
- Must have at least 2 years volume line cooking and preparatory experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Serv-Safe certified
- Proficient in basic mathematics including percentages, ratios, dry and liquid measurement, scaling and metric conversion
- Be able to read and write in English

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
