Software Support Specialist

Well established Financial Software Company seeks a Software Support Specialist. Position is Full Time with benefits. This person will serve as a main point of contact for clients to receive remote support on an as needed basis and to provide training. Phone support includes answering system navigation and functionality questions, as well as troubleshooting problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion.
Responsibilities:
Develop and update training documentation.
Help develop and run trainings for clients.
Research customer problems/issues and provide a high level of support.
Keep current on recent changes and/or upgrades within software.
Take ownership of resolution of customer issues.
Provides appropriate personnel a precise understanding of user's issues when the problem needs to be escalated to a higher level.
Skills and
Qualifications:
Credit Union Industry experience highly preferred
Strong problem solving skills
Effective communication skills
MySQL knowledge helpful
Microsoft/Business software proficient
Travel required less than 10%
Compensation:
Depending upon experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
