Auto Mechanic

Job Description
Busy shop looking to fill mechanic position in Layton. We work on all makes and models, along with some work on side by sides. Compensation is hourly plus commission depending upon applicants experience in the field. We are looking for someone that can lift 50
pounds, stand for long periods of time and have good communication skills to be able to explain needed repairs to the shop salesmen and customers. Work to be performed include but not limited to brakes, engine repairs, coolant leaks, electrical diagnostics, timing belts, scheduled maintenance, steering, suspension, drivabillity issues, noises ect. Great laid back shop with flexible schedule. We are open Monday-Friday 8am to 6pm Saturdays 8am to 4pm
Qualifications
Qualifications for applicant- Must have own tools. -Experience in automotive field is a must. -Diagnostic skills for all systems on cars and light duty trucks- Ability to complete the needed repairs in a timely efficient manner. -Drivers license with clean driving record- Current Davis county I/M certification as well as Utah safety inspection. A.S.E. Certification a plus but not required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
