We are looking for an energetic individual to join our team as a full-time marine technician. Must be responsible, dependable, honest & trustworthy, and have the ability to work well with others. Pay based on experience, but willing to train the right, motivated individual.
We are a dealership for Tracker, Sun Tracker, Supreme and Centurion. We are also a full service shop working on Mercruiser, Volvo, OMC, Indmar, PCM and Mercury Outboards. Our service department operates full-time, year round.
Responsibilities
Marine Mechanic Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics and repair of all types of marine engines, both service and rigging as needed
Handle multiple work orders and utilize computer systems to document work that has been performed
Service, diagnose, and repair outboards, I/O's, and inboards
Troubleshoot, repair and install electrical accessories in boats including bilge pumps, charging systems, and steering systems
Qualifications
Marine Mechanic Qualifications
General understanding of the diagnostic process, two-stroke and four-stroke theory, electrical diagnostics, and general shop processes
Strong attention to quality work and detail
Work independently or with a team
Work in both indoor and outdoor environments
2 Years of experience, preferred but not requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
